The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, announced that the cost of the golden visa does not exceed 300 Bahraini Dinars.
He said during a press conference that the immediate golden visa requires the purchase of a property worth more than 200,000 dinars
He added that the golden visa is renewed once every 10 years, noting that the golden visa gives its holders the possibility of recruiting domestic workers.
He stressed that the Golden Visa is granted to real estate owners, retirees and talented people.
The following categories can obtain a Golden Visa instantly:
To own a property or group of real estate with a value of not less than 200 thousand dinars.
- To be retired from one of the countries of the world with a monthly income of 4 thousand or more.
- Talented people who meet the conditions of the Golden Visa (immediate).
He stressed that the Golden Visa in the Kingdom of Bahrain contains the following:
ü Automatically granted "Golden Visa" only.
ü An enrollment visa is granted to the wife or husband, children and parents.
ü The residence holder has the right to work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
ü Through which domestic workers can be recruited.
ü Renewed once every 10 years.
The Undersecretary of Passports pointed out that the golden visa can be renewed for an indefinite period, provided that the person's eligibility to be entitled to that residence in accordance with its conditions, which is not associated with a specific age group, noting that this residence is granted to residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain for more than five continuous years and their average monthly salary is not less than 2000 dinars or more during that period.
He stressed that the objectives of the development plans in the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs are to enhance the investment environment in many fields, in a way that supports the national economy and is in line with the aspirations of the government and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.
It also aims to enhance the mechanisms of digital transformation in accommodation services and reduce the usual routine procedures.
